Risk Disclosure
Risk Disclosure
Please read this page before treating anything on this website as more than research and public-beta observation.
Substantial Risk
Trading crypto futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Prices can move quickly and losses can exceed initial expectations.
Virtual / Live-Paper Only
Tantoryn AI's current public trading observation is virtual (live-paper). Real-money order execution is disabled. No real funds are placed, held or risked by the system today.
No Guarantee
Nothing on this website guarantees future performance, profitability, or that any research result will translate into a working Production strategy.
Historical and Research Results
Any historical, backtest, research or live-paper result shown publicly is labeled by its evidence class and is not a guarantee of similar future results. Selected best periods are never presented as representative overall performance.
Known Limitations Are Disclosed
When a methodological limitation is material to a published result, we disclose it rather than hide it. A lack of disclosed limitations should not be read as a claim of perfection.
Structured Risk Framework
Rather than a single generic warning, we break down what can go wrong into five categories below — model, data, execution, operational and financial. Each is a real, current risk category for this system, not a hypothetical.
Model Risk
ML models can be wrong, overfit to historical conditions, or degrade as market regimes change. Model evaluation is under active research and revalidation; no model or method is treated as final, and a model score is never sufficient on its own to approve a trade.
Data Risk
Market data feeds can be delayed, incomplete, or momentarily stale. The system includes freshness checks and fallback handling, but data-quality issues remain a real, ongoing risk category for any live-market system, including this one.
Execution Risk
Today, all observed activity is virtual/live-paper — there is no real order-execution risk because real-money order execution is hard-disabled. If controlled live-risk execution is ever enabled, it will introduce real execution risks (slippage, latency, partial fills) that virtual observation does not capture, and this page will be updated before that happens.
Operational Risk
Software has bugs; infrastructure can fail; a runtime process can crash or restart. We disclose known operational limitations rather than hide them, and we do not publish infrastructure or security details that would make the system easier to attack.
Financial Risk
Crypto futures markets are volatile, and trading — real or eventually real — carries the possibility of losing some or all of any capital committed. TORYN itself is not currently used for access and carries its own separate, undetermined financial risk as an asset on a public network.
